Bollards

The Boplan® range of bollards sets new standards for safety, strength, and performance. Each bollard in this series offers specific strength and impact resistance. This ranges from extremely heavy impacts of 24.1 kJ to light impacts of 2.5 kJ. This ensures that there is a perfect safety solution for every situation. With a wide range of options, colours, and heights, they are easy to adapt to specific environments and aesthetic preferences. 

The patented modular design offers unparalleled protection against collisions. The bollards are made of Extrilene®, a special high-quality polymer that withstands repeated impacts. The deformation that occurs after each collision disappears as the vehicle recoils. Therefore, no repairs are necessary after a collision.

For the protection of charging stations, we propose the BO125L EV and BO145L EV bollards.

What are bollards?

Bollards are protective posts used to protect buildings, machinery, and other infrastructure from collisions with various types of vehicles. In addition to their protective function, their presence also increases visibility and regulates access to certain areas. Boplan offers bollards with different impact values depending on the application. Combine them with our safety handrails, guard rails, etc., for optimum safety.

Why should I install bollards at my workplace?

Why are Boplan® bollards so strong?

The new range of bollards is the result of years of research and development, extensive testing, and practical experience. A unique combination of three properties ensures the exceptional strength of the bollards:

  1. Extrilene®: we developed this plastic specifically for even better impact resistance. The aligned molecular structure of the material provides unrivalled strength while maintaining maximum flexibility.
  2. The multi-tube composition greatly strengthens the entire structure, as the impact of a collision is distributed over a larger area.
  3. The optimised base plate increases the impact resistance of the bollard.
