A reliable form of collision protection to protect entrance gates is a GOAL POST. These height restrictors consist of two tall bollards with a polymer height limiter in between, which you place just in front of an opening gate, a loading bay, or between two halls. For example, if a driver doesn't realise that his forklift is too high, the height restrictor will ensure that it doesn't come into contact with the gate mechanism. Polymer posts can be placed on the sides of a gate or driveway. This allows a forklift to manoeuvre neatly between them. The bollards protect vulnerable points such as doors, entrances, and machines.
