The FLEX IMPACT® KP PROTECTOR is a round column protector that protects load-bearing and H-beam columns in various industrial environments such as factories, warehouses, airports, and car parks. This protector consists of two easy-to-install parts that fit perfectly around the columns and provide attractive, versatile, and highly visible security.

The KP PROTECTOR is made of flexible and unbreakable polyethene, creating a protective layer around vulnerable columns. These protectors absorb the impact of collisions and protect both the vehicle and the structural elements. Air ducts inside the KP PROTECTOR release air at a controlled speed in the event of a collision, maintaining resistance to impact forces and minimising damage.

By reducing the impact force, the KP PROTECTOR effectively reduces the risk of structural damage to columns, ensuring the integrity of industrial buildings. These protectors are available in different diameters and sizes and can be adapted to any working environment.

Maximum visibility

The KP PROTECTOR is available in striking yellow RAL 1003 (signal yellow) and is therefore clearly visible in any situation. The KP PROTECTORS with a height of 500 mm are also available in red for use around columns or poles to which a fire extinguisher or hose reel is attached. This protects them and makes them more noticeable.

Column protection

Fits columns, pillars, and masts of all sizes

Our KP PROTECTORS have two attachment options. This means that they fit columns of different sizes. By slightly rotating the corner of the KP PROTECTOR, several cut-outs become available that better fit your column. The good fit maximises the benefits of the KP PROTECTOR.

Optional KP mounting kit

Each KP PROTECTOR consists of two halves attached around the pole or column with two or three Velcro® strips. For a more permanent fixing, the two halves can also be joined together with an optional KP mounting kit. After installation, the Velcro® strips cover the holes for a nice finish.

Column protections with optional foam filling

Our KP PROTECTORS are available in different sizes. For smaller columns, we offer foam filling. This optional foam rubber has extra shock-absorbing properties, allowing your KP PROTECTOR to fit perfectly on smaller columns, pillars, and masts. This high-quality foam maximises the effectiveness of your KP PROTECTOR in high-risk areas or where your masts are of a different size.

Optional extensions

The size of a KP PROTECTOR H 1100 can be extended by a multiple of 100 mm by adding a set of extensions. This is the ideal way to protect rectangular columns. A pin-and-hole connection is used to secure the extension between the two halves (system as with Lego®).
